Sometimes in Elementary school my best friend would invite me over just to brush her hair. She had fine blonde hair and it would get in huge matts... I loved hanging out with her and gently detangling it. I have always had a passion for hair and taking care of people. My grandmother would cut hair for everyone in the family, she always made it a fun event, we would all crowd around her in the garage and watch her do her thing. At some point she handed me the scissors and passed me the metaphorical torch. 

I studied at Paul Mitchell in Santa Barbara, and graduated in 2016. After school I assisted with Tina Dizon at the private room in Beverly Hills for a year. She taught me a lot about working with different textures and creating a high end experience for clients that is both nurturing and fun. We worked remotely with clients and did a lot of hair for T.V.. I assisted at Frederic Fekkai on Melrose place for a year after that, where I learned about French hairstyling techniques like balayage and advanced layering. Ultimately, serving my community here in Ventura is where I belong. For me doing hair is about enhancing god's creation, meaning I like to find your natural beauty and enhance it gently. I feel so grateful for each person who sits in my chair. Thank you for sharing your energy with me!
